Top of the Hop

I have the perfect view out of the big windows. I witness families and significant others reuniting with one another. I also witness families and significant others departing one another. I watch athletes go by on their scooters. Some of them zoom so fast past the walkers that they startle them. I can judge all the people passing by by their outfits without them knowing. I see some of my friends and teammates too. I watch the construction workers in front of Reed and Bartlett. Occasionally, they will send out a man to direct traffic.

I almost just witnessed this guy on his scooter get hit by a car. The guy on the scooter would've totally been at fault, but the car shouldn't have been going that fast. On a much lighter note, I saw a girl run all the way up the hill just to give her friend a hug. This hill isn't the flattest out there so that is a genuine friendship right there. I've seen some really good fall outfits so far, but I think the rain is killing some of the vibe. I love the rain don't get me wrong, but a good fall outfit is definitely ruined when it rains. The foliage definitely makes up for the copious amounts of rain we have been having. Maybe it isn't that much, but I am not used to this much so late in the year.
