In the middle of the green there is a strong sense of symmetry. It's easy to feel aligned with the campus where everything comes together. It's impossible not to notice the library staring down at you as you come into the center. The large clock tower displaying the time and demonstrating a staple of learning. This establishes the energy surrounding the campus as you pick the journey you want to go on from the center. As you branch off on your desired route this moment has laid the foundation of the intention behind your journey. Wherever you end up you'll always end up back in the nucleus of the web that leads to the green.

It's a rainy day today. I notice the gravel on the paths leading to the center is muddy and slushy. My spot has changed drastically over the past week. Along with the slush and gloomy weather surrounding the area. The center of the green has been fenced off. There are large planks of wood starting to form a hexagonal structure. There are regularly people in neon vests surrounding the sight as they work to finish the masterpiece of the final project that is to come. The anticipation builds around these planks of wood, perfect to burn for a large fire.

Today I noticed something that may seem obvious but is easy to over look regarding my location. It's the people surrounding it. As they come and go I realize that most people pass through without recognizing where they are, but the people that do stop to hangout are constantly happy. Frisbee has been a popular activity as well as soccer on these nice days. On a separate note, the leaves on the trees have started to change colors and the air is more crisp surrounding the campus giving a fall vibe.

I've started to notice that as I come here more often I'm more aware of my senses to the things around me. The fall breeze has been flowing through the green lately and I can feel it as it chills my face. I've noticed how as I walk through the gravel paths with different size pebbles massaging the bottoms of my shoes, I can see leaves of all different colors flowing through the air. If I take a second to just stop and enjoy I'll sometimes close my eyes to let my other senses take over and notice things that way. Today as I stand still I can feel the cold breeze and ground beneath me, uneven as most gravel grounds are, I can smell the rain in the air as it's crisp, I can hear people crunching on the gravel and conversing with each other, and I can taste the dryness of my mouth as the cool air flows through it.

At night the green seems to be more black than anything. It's hard to notice much around until you look up. The stars beaming down brightening up the campus. I've never seen the sky lit up with the amount of stars that are here. It hypnotizes the eye to just get lost in the connections the stars have. Then to just slowly bring your attention back to earth to see the big clock tower ignited, staring down to just remind you where you are surrounded by the beautiful nature.
