Front of Russell Sage/tuck mall rd

I chose this spot because I ride past it at the least twice a day, and while that may seem lazy at first, I always feel as if something different sticks out to me when I take a moment to look over at the front steps of Russell Sage while riding my scooter on tuck mall road.

Today I have no classes, so I took a ride over to foco for breakfast. As I glance to my left, I first notice a shiny, squeaky clean red moped, which since my time here I had never seen in front of the dorm. I take a minute to turn and park near it. Quite a ride (I should've got a picture). I go on to walk towards the steps and I notice a red plastic cup on the second one from the front door. When I went to pick it up, it was sticky and a little funky, so I threw it away in the aspect of cleanliness. However my question of what was in that cup will forever be unanswered.

After grabbing a late night snack post-studying at Baker Library, I caught a glimpse of a strange man walking towards Russell Sage. It was very dark outside so my details may come off as pretty vague. He had on an all black outfit (more of a gown kind of look), a large hood to cover his head shape, and a staff with some sort of symbol on top. He seemed like a real life grim reaper. It felt as if the tall figure was walking in slow motion, or maybe my imagination got the best of me. However, this was still quite the sight to behold on a dark, late night in Hanover.

On the way to class this morning, I saw a small furry animal on the steps towards Russel Sage's entrance. It looked like a hamster but it had a very striped and furry tail. I'm not too sure what it exactly was but it reminded me of a squirrel because of its light brown fur and head shape and features. Hopefully I see it again on some free time to get a closer look.

Today I woke up around 5am for the freshmen football lift and it was pouring down raining. I wore my navy-blue raincoat and a black cotton beanie to try and stay warm, & I was still extremely cold. As I rode down Tuck road on my scooter, through puddles and wet leaves and mud, I noticed a pink leaf gliding towards the entrance of Russel sage. It was abnormal to me, as a pink maple-shaped leaf is something I had never seen before. Not in person, on the internet, in a picture none of them. The sight was quick and brief but fascinating, and it is a reminder that on this campus you'll always find something new.

Last night at an unprecedented time, I was riding my scooter back to French hall where I reside when I caught a glimpse of a man in a white jacket and black pants sprinting full speed towards a group of people in costumes. Unfortunately, I'll never know what his intention was, as he lost his balance and fell face first onto the sidewalk, losing one of his green and white shoes in the process. It was a funny yet sad watch as I can only assume that fall hurt badly. The group of people in costumes he was heading towards walking away laughing hysterically, and the strange man got up and walked in another direction with a look of shame.
